Late summer in the backyard

Naylene and Ping needed a nap after our recent houewarming party.

Ping likes macaroni and cheese. What’s left of it, that is.
Here are a few of Ping’s first friends at the breeder – some very little pugs and some very big ones. Ping herself is not in any of these shots.

Ping is afraid of the Nintendo DS.
When I turned it on and it made noise she got scared and wouldn’t get too close to it. She kept backing up and sniffing the ground, so I had to keep following her around with it and trying to sneak a photo.
The look here says, “Are we done with this yet?”
Ping makes the trip home from the breeder, runs around the house, runs around the backyard and takes her first bath.
She also chews on bricks. How can you pass that up?

Edit: You have to have Quicktime installed to view the video. Most computers already do, so if you click the link or the photo and you see the blue “Q” logo pop up just wait a few seconds while the start of the movie loads. If you don’t see the logo then you need Quicktime. Click here to get it. You should have this anyway, not just for Ping.
Warping time a bit here… these are the actual first photos of Ping, for the record. They were taken with my camera phone, but I didn’t want the world to see the Puggy for the first time through the plastic lens of a low-res camera.
I think this was her first night with us, taken in the kitchen.
